Great for random things from the states, especially Mac and cheese and dill pickles. Prices are high, but to be expected with cost to import.
Everything your heart desires for UK and US expats! There are seasonal items as well, for example christmas crackers. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.
Kelly's. With Kelly's, it's a love/hate relationship. I love that they offer foods I miss from home, but I hate the fact that many of their products are SO OFTEN out of stock. This has been the case since discovering Kelly's around 2016. I contacted them about my experiences regarding it, but seven years later, it is no better. On the plus side, orders are processed quickly, shipping is prompt, and orders are very well packaged.
Kelly's also has three (?) physical locations where frozen and fresh foods can be purchased; they will not ship these items.
Lastly, while Kelly's offers a wide variety of international foods, much of it is "junk food" - sweets, candy, and soda pop. Would love to see them carry more adult foods that are regionally popular.
Although the major supermarket chains stock British products, the range is generally limited. It is often difficult to find items such as Branston Pickle, Colman's mustard, Fray Bentos, HP sauce, Marmite, Ribena, Tate & Lyle, Yorkshire tea . . . to name just a few. This is where Kelly's Expat Shopping comes to the rescue.
Within easy walking distance from the Albert Cuyp Market, Europe's longest street market, Kelly's is located in Ferdinand Bolstraat, the street after which the Febo hole in the wall snackbars were named; Their first outlet was in Ferdinand Bolstraat and they used the Febo abbreviation to name the chain.
Kelly's standard assortment consists of some 3,000 products, mostly British, but a few American as well. There's a good selection of fresh produce, bacon and sausages, breakfast cereals, beer and cider, confectionery, pies, canned goods and deep freeze products.
In the unlikely event you cannot find what you're looking for, the store has the possibility of ordering 20,000 British products for you and can even arrange for delivery.
Great place! I got New York bagels and Yorkshire tea :) Haven't tasted authentic bagels for more than 7 years until I found this shop!
Kelly's Expat Shopping is great. You can find all those little gems you can't get anymore if living away from the UK. The delivery has always ben quick in my experience too. Would highly recommend for the Expats!
